Pioneer fph85 Hi there,  I have a pioneer FH-P85 car radio.  I want to brighten up the or increase the contrast of the light but I cant figure it out.  Worse is I lost the manual.  Can you help me please? Thank you very much in advance.

You can press the DSp button for 2 sec, then use the FF and Rev buttons to adjust the contrast.

this is a great unit i have owned mine for 12 years. only thing the cd does not work.

I'm afraid you can't. The contrast controls will lighten/darken the foreground, but there is no way of doing the same to the background.

to brighten up the display, after unit is on press the power button again and you should get the light and contrast contols. works on all of mine.

Input for Ipod??

remember those cd kits that came with a tape to insert to the (stero)pioneer fh-p404 and the output jack to the cd player? well instead of plugging into cd player plug it to your ipod....my pioneer fh-p404 has a tape deck and i'm able to hear all of my music without cds or tapes and i found the tape kit without the cd player for 6 bucks at walmart go figure!
