How do you install a snow plow onto a gravely 8122 tractor? Have tractor, have original plow for tractor, no manual.

The first thing to do is get all the information you can off your plow. Like: serial number, model number and any info on any tags you find then go to the John Deere web site. Go to the plows section and you should find everything you need. They do have parts lists and manuals on the site. But it may be harder to find parts without at least a model. But they do have help areas you can try. Try there and if no luck try to give me all the info you can about what you are looking for and I'll do some research for you.

Underneath the hood of your tractor is a silver sticker with the sears item number for the correct snowblade. If its a craftsman snowblade it should have a meteal label on it with its model number the 5 numbers after the period need to be the same with what was under your hood to make it the correct blade

No, there is no place to prime the engine. But, I have one that doesn't like to start in cold weather also. I use a one second burst of starting fluid into the air cleaner. You can get starting fluid at any auto parts store here in the U.S. Gumout, Gunk, Heet are a few good brands.
