Question about Logitech Z-2300 Computer Speakers

1 Answer

My cord that connects to the laptop or tv has a short in it and now I can't hear anything from the subwoofer or the speakers. Can it be repaired or do I have to buy another system? Is there any other way I can use the system w/o buying another if there aren't any more options?

If the cord that has a problem connects to the remote or that goes from the remote to the subwoofer you can go get another remote and it comes with the wires. You can get one from ebay craigslist or someplace like that or if it is still under warranty call up logitech's tech support and they may send you a new one. hope that helps

How do I connect these two together so I hear it from my surround sound?

You'll need some type of amplifier to drive the speakers. The Samsung TVs mostly have a line out and a headphone out, but that wont drive speakers unless they are powered speakers like PC speakers or a powered sound bar. (Like the Pioneer SP-SB23W soundbar/subwoofer) If you have some of these get a mini 1/8" stereo plug to RCA plug adapter from BestBuy or similar. If you have PC type speakers, You'll need a 1/8" mini stereo patch cord to go from the line out to the speaker input. (Set the audio out on the TV to variable so you can control the volume with the TV volume.)

I bought speaker that are supposed to connect to the tv Cineblue speakers wireless 2.1speaker system with subwoofer and tv RCA P61939 61 in. Rear Projection Television where do I plug the cord that...

I can find not much on the Cineblue speakers. What kind of cable does it use to connect? Is it a stereo sub mini plug? If so, you may need an adapter to connect it to the Audio outputs on the back of this particular set. Here is my first suggestion. That is the simple solution. there are many other types of cables/adapter boxes that will solve this issue.

I have bought a new Denon 5.1 Home theater system, I have connected it to TV through Optical cable ,all the speakers seems working however no sound from subwoofer. When i test the subwoofer i can hear its...

Apart from checking the connections again, the best I can suggest is that you have not got the subwoofer selected. I would repeat the set up procedure as outlined in the manual. You might want to do a factory reset first, if the set up does not eliminate settings in the first place.

I have no idea how to connect these speakers all I have is the wires for the 5 speakers and a power cord for the sub any help please?

You have not mentioned -- connect it to what ???. Assuming that its an AV receiver. Start by connecting the front three speakers to the the amplifiers speaker sockets labeled Left front / Center / Right Front. These are connected using three short wires. Then connect the two surround speakers using the pair of long speaker cables. You will need a RCA to RCA cable to connect the subwoofer to the Receivers subwoofer preamp out.The subwoofer also requires an A/C wall socket to power it.

LG Plasma TV has speakers fizzing in short bursts, cant hear any audio

Yes I believe you have a hardware failure in your audio amp IC. In some cases, a speaker will cause all the audio to distort, but its very rare for a speaker to cause this issue. If you just got it, you can return for a quick resolution, or contact a local repair center for a new main board replacement.

Sounds like the wires inside got pulled loose or broke. Replace the speaker wires or check them good for connection.

Sony AMP/Subwoofer Problem

It is probably the tweeter, inside the Sub. it's the small ceramic disk between the cone magnet, and the speaker. id this thing is cracked or broken, this will cause the problem. if this is not it, then it is a problem with something in the wiring, and the only way to rectify it is to buy a new sub. Sorry due :(
