The power shut off because it has been a power surge - the voltage on the line grew very high for a fraction of a second. When that happened the protection system at the power station that powers your house disconected the mains, shutting everything down. Unfortunately it hasn't acted fast enough and the power source of the tv has been fried by the surge.
To fix that you will have to dismantle the tv and replace the power source with an original one. If you don't know ho to do it then the only thing left for you to do is to take the tv to a certified repair shop. It will be expensive, so be prepared .

Akai 65" led fhd sm tv shows logo then turns off by itself

The reason you're not finding any bad caps is that's not the issue. If it was the set wouldn't power up then shut down, faulty caps don't cause issues like this. One thing that would have helped is the model number but I have a good idea what's causing your issue. When the set is powered on it goes through the boot log sequence, this is stored in the EEPROM that's located on the main board, chances are if you take a can of freeze spray and freeze the IC the set will power up as this IC isn't used once the set has powered on but it would only work one time but it's a way to confirm if this is the issue. If you have advanced solder skills you can order an IC and replace it for under 20 bucks, but it's not something easy to do without the skills or equipment, the other option is replacing the main board, however that may run more than it's worth so buying a new TV may make more sense

When I first turn the AKAI 60 " TV on the picture

Replace the main power supply as the smoothing capacitors are low value due to ageing.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers for spare part supplies as required.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

RCA 46'' rear projection TV, dated 1998 won't turn on

Probably a new problem given the age of the TV. If you already haven't done so, try unplugging the power for about 10 minutes, plug back in and try again.

We just got 46" Samsung about 6 months ago. For the past week when ever I try to turn the TV on- it will automatically turn off and on (constantly until we unplug the TV). Sound is still working. ...

Sounds like an issue with the power and or main board. Contact samsung and describe your problem to them. A lot of samsung parts have lifetime warranties and the service call is free. so definitely check with samsung and see if you can get a comp repair. hope this helps, j
