I've got a Polaroid FLM-3701 LCD TV. I have had the TV over 4 years and it's worked great. Recently it's starting to shut itself off. I say "shut off", actually the picture goes off, the power light changes from blue to red, but the sound is still there. I can turn it off and back on again and it'll play fine for however long. Any ideas as to what might be wrong or what might be going to happen??

It looks like your power supply might not be providing enough current to get the LCD to power up. This LCD needs about 3 to 4 amps to work properly.

Diagram where fuse is in the polaroid flm-3701

There is a fuse on the power supply board. It is labelled F1. It is a small cylinder near the AC connector. The F1 fuse is 5A 250V. How ever, capacitors are more likely to fail on this television.
The Polaroid FLM3701 has a problem with capacitors failing on the power supply board. If enough caps go bad, you will get no power. Not even a power light. Any capacitor that is swollen is bad.

Hi, my LCD Polaroid FLM-3701 went through a power outage and now doesn't get power any more. The power led doesn't show any light. I saw a capacitor repair kit available, and four 680 uF capac

The power supply fuse should be next the the ac input plug on the power supply. It should be a long cylinder type fuse, probably a T6.3AH/250V. You will want to replace those caps ASAP

Is there a coaxial input on this tv?

No because it is a monitor only; meaning it does not have a TV tuner of its own.

Where is the fuse in a 3701 LCD Polaroid TV/Monitor

In the Polaroid FLH-3701, the fuse is located on the power supply board, next to the AC power connector. It is a small black cylinder. It is labelled F1. Value is 5 amp, 250 volts.
A fuse does not blow for no reason. Most commonly a fuse will fail because of a short someplace on the board. I have this same TV. The fuse blew. The reason was transistor Q6 had shorted. There are two identical paired transistors on the output side. Q6 and Q7. They are both Infineon 11N60C3 MOSFET transistors. Check those for a short. There may be a burnt smell.
More commonly, this TV will fail because of bad capacitors on the power supply board.
