The widgets keep resetting, I'll download the information and everything for them. And in 10-20 minutes, they reset back to the default widgets and applications. My layout on my phone always reverts back to normal, even if I take everything off of the screens and add my own set up of widgets and apps. It resets itself.

Reset instructions

If you are trying to power cycle (reset) your TV, then power it off, unplug everything from the back of it, and unplug the TV from the wall for a few minutes. After a few minutes, plug everything back in, and power on the TV. You can also reset any system changes by restoring them back to factory default.

If the problem still exists, then I would recommend setting up repair service.

I have a motorola defy. How do I delete a widget that inadvertantly was put on my screen?

Tap and hold over that widget. Then, whilst keeping your finger holding it down, you'll notice a trash can showing on the bottom of the screen. Then, drag that widget to the trash can. When it reaches the can, It will turn red. Just lift your finger.
Hope it works for you.
Anyway, please, let me know if you need further informations.
Regards, Carlos

I cannot find information on my router to change my password. My password doesn't work anymore

You'll want to reset your router using the following instructions:

To reset the router using the reset button, use these steps:
  1. Look for the red reset button at the back of the router.
  2. Press and hold the reset button for approximately 5 seconds.
This will reset your router to factory defaults meaning you'll have to set up your router to the way you like it (i.e. adding a password to your wireless network etc.)

I would like to give my Zire 31 to a friend but need to erase all my information from it. How do I do this?

Do a HARD RESET on your PALM ZIRE 31.
A hard reset will erase everything on your device. All your data will be removed, and formats, preferences and other settings are restored to their factory default settings.

  1. Press and hold the Power (on/off) button on the front panel of your device.
  2. While holding Power, use an unfolded paper clip, or the reset tool at the tip of your stylus. Gently press and release the RESET button inside the hole on the back panel of your device (where's the reset hole?).
  3. If you see a progress bar (see below), keep holding the Power button.
  4. Next, the Palm Powered screen will appear. Release the Power button when you see it.
  5. You'll see a screen that asks: Erase all data? YES = "up" button NO = any other button. Press UP on your 5-way navigator to complete the hard reset.

I have a Belkin Wireless G router 54Mbps.It is installed since last july, but I had a problem this week with the modem, so I would like to rename the wireless network and include a password, because I...

1. Locate the reset hole on the router. The button will be on the back or side of the router.
Leave the router powered on.

  1. Use a paperclip (or similar) to press and hold in the reset button for 10 seconds.
  1. Remove the paperclip.

4. Wait approximately one minute for the router to restart.

The settings for the router have now been reset back to their default.

Do not forget the new password and keep it somewhere safe. If you forget your password, you'll be unable to access your router's settings. If you forget or lose your password, you'll need to "Perform a hardware reset on the router". This will reset the password to its default, as well as erase any and all other settings you may have changed.

Setup steps:

1. Connect the computer to one of the four LAN ports on the router.

2. Open a web browser on the computer.

3. In the address bar of the web browser, type http://192.168.2.1

How do I reset the security on a 2001 Dodge Intrepid?

I can't see your system from here so lets try it this way. Undo the negative battery cable and take it off the battery. Then turn your ignition key to on position. Then turn your headlights on, the radio, and the heater and let it sit there for 30 minutes. This will drain any reserve or stored up power. The turn off all the features not forgetting to turn off the lights and key. Re-attach the battery cable and tighten it down so you can not turn it by hand. then see if everything is reset. It should put it all back to factory defaults. Keep me informed, Raz

Can't get a Widget back!

This should help you...

Open your widget bar by touching the "W". Once it's open, add all of your widgets to the home screen. Stack them from top of the screen down. that should allow you to scroll down to the one you can't get to otherwise. Now simply move that one up higher, then begin to put back the ones you don't want into your widget bar in order from bottom to top. Once you have them docked back where you want them, click the "X" to close the widget bar.

Problem should be solved.

Unable to reset a Belkin Wireless N F5D8236-4v1 back to default

That is indeed strange. Holding in the reset button should definitely clear the wireless router memory. Are you sure that you're going to the right administration page to configure the router? It should be something like 192.168.1.1.

Also... by any chance are there other wireless networks nearby? I'm wondering if your computer accidentally connected to that while the wireless router was off... and now you're going to the wrong router.

If none of that works, try leaving the router unplugged for about five minutes. The volatile memory shouldn't last much longer than that.
