Why do you need the manual? It is more than likely a coaster brake bike, and a users manual is not going to answer any technical stuff anyway. If, you are concerned with the safety of it, go to a Schwinn bicycle dealer and have them check it out. Tire pressure is on the sidewall of the tire.

How old are the schwinn 227p recumberant exercise bikes?

Hello, Mark -

I found a review of the Schwinn 227p recumbent exercise bikes dated 16 Nov 1971:
https://wilmerstreeton.wordpress.com/1971/11/16/review-of-the-schwinn-227p-exercise-bike/

Are you really asking about a Schwinn 227p recumbent exercise bike you are considering purchasing second hand and want to know how old THAT bike is? If so . . . ask the seller if he / she can tell you how old the bike is.

Or, do you have such a bike and want to know how old it might be? If so, and if you can locate a serial number on the bike, this website may prove helpful:
https://bikehistory.org/serial-number.html

You can also contact Schwinn directly to find out if they can identify the age of the recumbent bike in question:

Best wishes.

From research on Schwinn Frontier GS, it appears my bike is all 1997 frame and components with a 1996 paint job and seat. Is this possible and does anyone know where this bike was manufactured?

In 1997 it would have been manufactured overseas, not really important where. Neither is the exact date important, but generally bikes models go by the paint job, as component specs can change.

How many ball bearings are there supposed to be on each side of the front axle of the Schwinn Point Beach model S4852WM bike?

There will always be a small gap in the bearing ring, and not all hubs take the same amount. However, if the balls are 3/16" there are almost always 10 on each side. If they are 1/4 inch (less common) then 9 is the correct amount. DO NOT replace only some of them - replace only in a full set of 20 or 18.

I found a very old Scwinn 26" boy's with a 3 speed coaster brake on it. I figure someone swapped it decades ago. Do you know how far back that 3 speed w/ coaster bakes goes?

Three speed Schwinn's go back to the late 50's and 60's. Just type Schwinn Photos in the command line on the internet search page area and a full page of pictures will come up. Here you may see the exact bike you purchased with the descriptions.

Purchased a Schwinn 4 months ago from Dunham's Sporting Goods. One of the gears has already broken. Unable to ride bike until we get it repaired. What is the difference between "Sram" &...

It's "Shimano". SRAM and Shimano are the main players in the bicycle component industry. Each has boutique parts and throw-away parts. Guess which end your your bike is on.

Visit their websites to look around at the offerings. Just the parts on a high end bike (no frame or wheels) can set you back $2000.

The problem needs some better definition and a trip back to the seller for evaluation. OR bite the bullet and get a better Bike Shop bike that will come with a relationship to the guys at the bike shop, who are always ready and willing to advise you.

Just purchased a Ladies Schwinn "Sanctuaray" crauiser (I think It's a cruiser). Can't lower the seat. HELP!!!

Seats only go so low. Had you purchased the bike at a real Bicylce Shop they would have fitted it to you before sending you home with it.

Web search "adjust bicycle seat"

General bicycle manuals are usually available at the makers' websites. Hint: schwinnbikes.com

Web searches reveal many answers immediately.

I have this Meridian Trike (Walmart purchase). I need a FREE WHEEL 16T SPROCKET to fit the rear axle shaft. the shaft is larger than 15mm & 5/8in ?? My local Bike shop could not help me with this odd...

Why not call a Schwinn dealer and ask if they can order it for you? You do realize that you void any warranty by altering you bike, don't you? But, if you don't care, look on the www.schwinn.com website and find a Schwinn dealer near you.

I recently purchased a used Schwinn Turbo Trailer and it did not come with a manual on how to attach to my bike. As I am going to be transporting my little boy, I want to make sure it is done right. Any...

From what I can tell the Schwinn Instep Trailer uses exactly the same hitch. Below are videos of someone with your trailer and another with the Instep (showing the entire install procedure) as well as a link to a manual that should apply at least to the hitch of your manual. You could also call Schwinn to verify.
