I had the same problem. First disconnect the mp3 player from your computer. Then go into the control panel, select the system icon, go to the device manager tab, and then find the Samsung K5 driver. Right click on it and select uninstall. Now reconnect your mp3 player. That should do the trick. Somehow the driver file got corrupted and wasn't letting the k5 charge.

Batteries & USB Devices & Charging

I see lots of people have trouble with their batteries for their various USB connected devices. Unfortunately you cannot usually charge a totally flat battery, or even a 1/2 charged one... from the USB port. These are only used to "Top Up" the battery... & keep it charged up via a "Trickle Charge". at very low current. If your battery is in this condition then you need to replace it with a fully charged one, and then use the USB to keep it fully charged.Another way is to connect the "Flat" battery up to a power supply or machine that charges them, at the right Voltage (Usually 3 - 6 V) & Current rating, and once fully charged, then use the USB.

I replaced the spark plug and ignition coil and now it won't start?

if the car won`t turn over then it could be a starter problem if the battery is as you say fully charged. check voltages at the starter. it could be a bad connection or starter relay.

My battery indicator won't turn green when it is fully charged.what is this issue?

It is possible one of the battery cells has degraded enough the battery is not showing a full charge, or there is an issue with the green light, but this is minor provided everything is working.

Battery won't charge

connect the charger to the socket, then connect the charger to your laptop. if it does not charge remove it for 5mins, connect the charger back. it will work now. sometimes when the battery is fully charged and you remove the charger and connect it back it may not charge until the battery is low;lets say 99%.

Panasonic HM-TA1 won't power on with battery fully charged.

The battery will not charge when the device is turned on. Make sure that when you connect it to your computer via its usb that you do not turn it on otherwise it wont charge.

The annoying thing about this device is that when you connect it to your computer and turn it on, on the LCD it will say "connecting via usb" and the memory bar will show that it is fully charged, however the battery is not. This must just be a design flaw as the battery won't be charged.

Just remember to plug it in and leave it, do not turn it on!

Phone does not charge

When my phone is connected to the charger, it says fully charged. But as soon as I disconnect the charger, the battery shows empty. When I connect the phone to the charger, it starts charging but after 10 seconds it says fully charged.
