Paragon 4000 series timers use X2772 tripper

Google search for X2772 Paragon tripper
Midnight electric stills sells them

Email from paragon in Nov said that Paragon is no longer making timers and parts, except for defrost timers.
4000 series is not a defrost timer

To change over to Intermatic, buy 120Volt T101 timer or 120/240V GM40

SOURCE: I need the on tripper

Google search: X2772 tripper

Thank you for including model number.
Paragon is no longer making 4000 series timer or the X2272 tripper.
Some places might still carry the tripper.

Replacement timer for 4001-00 is Intermatic T101 timer:
Crossover wiring from 4001-00 to T101:
Paragon terminal 1 connects to Intermatic terminal 1
Paragon terminal 2 connects to Intermatic terminal 2
Paragon terminal 3 connects to Intermatic terminal A

Flippers not functioning

be sure that the trippers you are using are for this specific model if you purchased them seperately.
if they are for your model then make sure they are fully seated so that they are engaging the switch. if you are using trippers you have had a long time the remove one go to your local store where you can buy the low voltage power pack. they should have additional trippers to go with your model examine the new trippers to make sure yours look the same and are not worn or broken. if all appears good then you may have a problem with the switch that is engaged by the trippers and the unit may need to be replaced.

4000 series Paragon timer uses X2772 tripper
To check your model:

Midnight electric sells X2772 tripper

That being said,
According to e-mail I got from Paragon last month, Paragon is no longer making timers or timer parts. Except for defrost timers. 4000 series is not a defrost timer.
This explains why some sellers of these trippers are asking $50 or more for $3 pair of trippers.

To change your timer to Intermatic.
Refer to Intermatic cross reference:

If I understand correctly, you need tripper pins for a Paragon timer
At page bottom is a chart with model number and the tripper required

The two links above help you identify your timer model and identify the tripper.
After identifying tripper number, you have to do a google search for that tripper number

So, if you need more help, please answer back and we'll find the right timer and pin

If you have Intermatic timer, then you can buy pins at Grainger
