I have moved into a house with a built in Belling oven but have no instructions for it and no idea how the timer works. I have worked out how to set the clock and use the minute minder but I think I should also be able to programme the oven to start and stop cooking at set times, but nothing I have tried so far seems to work...
There are 6 buttons:-
a timer bell
a cooking pot with steam coming out of it
a cooking pot with the word 'stop' in it
a hand
a plus sign
a minus sign
Please help!
Thank you
SOURCE: can't get my belling oven to work
Press & hold both the 'Cook Time' and 'Stop Time' buttons together and, while holding both of them down, press either the + or - button (this is the way to set the time of day). Release all buttons simultaneously. This should enable the cooking functions to operate.

SOURCE: Belling built in fan oven (XOU60FP)is overheating
Have same problem, I am repairing our 648HM double oven. Top oven overheats. I am an electronics engineer. I found that top oven fan has failed, this is the first thing to replace. The grill element also failed which maybe due to the overheating oven. NIGEL
