The screen is green and the tint option in the menu cannot be adjusted.

This symptom usually indicates CRT failure. Projection TV's, especially older types use 3 CRT "guns" to project the image on the screen. One is Cyan or Red, one is Green and one is Blue. If the Red and Blue become weak or do not project, the Green gun overpowers the output of the other two. These three "guns" are aligned exactly on top of each other so when all three are correctly functioning, the correct colors are projected on the screen.

I want to know the basic of technology used in this webcam...

Basically there is a sensor inside, behind the lens. The lens captures the image and the sensor translates it for the computer's processor using RGB color (red, green and blue). Using these three colors you can create any color.

Tv out of foucs

These procedures are from the owners manual, go into menu and then picture quality and then: Convergence The Convergence feature lets you adjust the TV’s three tubes. When the TV tubes’ images are precisely aligned, they create the color images you see on the screen. Over time, the picture can drift out of alignment (this is normal). If your picture seems fuzzy or has a yellow tint, using Convergence could correct this misalignment. Only one convergence is needed for all inputs, regardless of the signal format. Note: Make sure the TV has been on for at least 30 minutes (TV needs to warm up for best results) before starting Auto Converge or Red/Blue Centering. When you select the Convergence feature, a submenu appears with three options: Auto Converge Automatically aligns the projection lenses to self-correct color images. You’ll see flashing squares of color dance across the screen (this is normal). Note: After performing auto convergence, use the Blue Centering and Red Centering menus to fine tune convergence in the center of the screen, if necessary. Blue Centering Aligns the blue and green images to fine-tune the picture. Red Centering Aligns the red and green images to fine-tune the picture. Note: The ability to change channels is disabled when adjusting the convergence options. The TV must be tuned to a usable signal to converge the picture.

Tv color turning green

could be a couple of things. 1 the convergence is messed up, go throught the set up and make sure the blue and red "+" are aligned to create a white image, If using component input make sure the red is to the red the blue is to the blue, try different cables for the components blue and red. Try S-video or Composite, if the problem persists, check the menu to ensure all the colors are set even, if the problem still persists, then you may have a blown projection gun.

Trying to hook up the dvd player to the tv and I figured out how to get the color back on but the sound is terrible it sounds like its echoing. Can't figure out the blue green red combination for white red...

Your TV probably has several different ways of connecting video. One is component, which uses three cables. They are red, green, and blue (RGB). The video output on your DVD player will match this color scheme.

Another scheme for video is composite (because it combines the red, green, and blue into one cable). Composite video is usually a yellow "socket". It is simpler to connect, but the video quality is noticeably poorer than component (RGB).

Another scheme is S-Video. This is one cable (round and black), but you will see four pins inside the connector (and four holes in the "socket"). This accounts for the three cables in the component scheme with the convenience of having only one cable. The picture quality is almost as good as component as well.

In your case, there may be confusion between composite and component. If you have red, green, and blue sockets on both the DVD and TV, then make sure you use them and connect them color for color.

Now for the sound, this is simpler. Red is the right channel, and white is the left. Make sure you connect red to red and white to white. Then, viola, everything will be right.

I hope this helps.
