Question about Pioneer Car Audio & Video

I just installed the pioneer dxt-2266ub package in my truck and when i tried to adjust the audio. like the bass and treble and what not when i push the volume button and it says audio all it will let me do is the fade and balance. just trying to figure out how to adjust the bass and treble.

Turn the knob left or right to change from fade and balance to loud tones etc.

Find the audio settings....turn off loudness. Look up manual. I run my stereo with bass on -1 mids on 2 and treble on 4.

This is the right diagram for a 98 ford contour. If the color does'nt match, can you post the last 8 digits of the car's VIN?

How do you take off the bass on a pioneer radio?


Go to your audio settings and you should see bass and treble adjustments or google your make and model of stereo and look at the manual online...

How come when i push the "A-M" button to use my sound controls all i get is the balance and the fader? no bass and no treble


You can only use bass and treble if your Z-Enhancer is OFF. If it is on excite or bass boost you cannot adjust bass or treble

in newer sound systems they usually have an button that says audio with push of the button it should give you options of adjusting balance fade bass treble etc.
