SOURCE: Speedlight SB-80DX TTL Flash ideal for NIKON D60?

It works but it's not ideal. The SB-80DX won't support TTL flash on the D60, only non-TTL Auto and Manual. The SB-800 is the most capable flash unit for the D60, but you can get full TTL operation with the less expensive SB-600 or SB-400.

Can I use Nikon SB-22s speed light with my Nikon digital SLR D5000? Is that compatible? I bought SB-22s for my previous Nikon film camera. Thank you.

You should be able to use your SB-22 with your D5000, however you can only use it in the manual mode since it is not a TTL speed light. That means you will need to manually set both the camera and the flash unit. I have done that successfully with an SB-25 on both my D800 and D90 in a pinch, but you should consider investing in either an SB-700 or SB-910. They are allot more versatile.

CAN I USE A NIKON SB-22S SPEEDLIGHT ON A sony slt a35

If you're worried about the trigger voltage, it's safe according to this list: http://www.botzilla.com/photo/strobeVolts.html.

You won't get all of the automation as you would with a flash intended to be used with a Sony camera.

Sb-22 flash fires but d60 still opens the bilt in fash

I think you will need to upgrade to the 22s. It sounds like the newer model provides the D60 with a 'handshake' signal that the older 22 model does not have.

Use of Nikon SB22s as slave flash.

in the manual setting the SB-22s is just a standard flash and should work with a standard hotshoe.
