It is possible that the processor might have some garbage in it do to a small power surge and if you leave the TV unplug for 40 MIN., it will rest back to normal
The OSD (on screen menu) is locked. Those two serials (not models) are for two completely different tv's: the first is for an very old standard 32 inch CRT and the second for an old plasma.
To unlock it in the first tv you need to just press the menu button for 10 seconds. For the second tv you must start the tv and immediately press both the menu and channel up buttons for 5 seconds.
Then your tv is an old CRT - correct name Philips Magnavox PA5032. In your case you must press up.
No, but these tv's were extensively used in hotels so they were specially manufactured with a Hotel Mode - in which you can just start it, change the channels and the volume and turn on the captions. Maybe this is your case. In that case to unlock it you will need a master remote. Finding one will be very difficult - i couldn't find one online. You should go thru repair shops and junk shops, maybe you're lucky.

It is correct that it is an old 32 inch TV, but both the PA5032 C102 and 32R505-00BB are from the manufacture information label on the back of TV. Here is a serial number that may clear up some confusion 57439643.
I can try unlocking the on screen remote but will it matter if menu up or menu down buttons are used ?
Please advise.
Earl
Model numbers are both from the same TV, it's not a plasma, the serial number is 57439643. When pushing menu button should I push up or down to unlock the OSD ?
I have four of of these TV's they all have been unplugged for over 40 min. prior to this call for help.
Still can't find menu on PA5032-C102 / 32R505-00BB.
Tried it several times....didn't work. any other ideas ?

Still looking for solution to the limited or locked menu on Phillips TV's from manufacturing factory aution. Could it be these TV's are only monitors?
I have TV's from manufacturing plant that have only limited on screen menus I.E.: Caption 1 thru 4, Text 1 thru 4, Sleep 15min thru 120min.
TV's turn on with blue screen and only four channels 9,10,12,13.
I am looking for expert advice to program channels and input / output on TV's.
