Restart the computer, when you see the Emachine logo, tap F8
go to safe mode
Once in safe mode, go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools system restore
restore to 1 week previous that you downloaded the malware. The software that you are getting hit with is a virus itself called "Hijack Ware"- it basically holds your system hostage.

Now after that is done, go to a site like Avast! or AVG and install an antivirus (Both of those are free and reputable. I prefer Avast!)

Don't click and don't believe crud like those popups ever again.

It may not be a virus. It sounds more like a bad case of spyware. You may want to download, install, update, and run something like Malwarebytes AntiMalware. It sounds pretty serious, so it may need the attention of a PC technician to fully remove the infection.

Hope this helps!

Hi! i have a acer aspire one, everytime i switch my laptop on it pops up with a privacy center and i cant get rid of it?

Privacy Center, or PrivacyCenter, is a rogue anti-spyware program designed to trick users into purchasing its full rogue version. Privacy Center looks similar to Privacy Components. Privacy Center may infect your computer through a Trojan, spam emails or it may have come bundled with another malicious program. Privacy Center sells itself as an effective spyware remover tool, however, all it does is make you believe you're infected with numerous spyware threats to offer its "licensed" program.

Go to the link below and download and run MalwareBytes Anti-Malware program. When it installs it will ask to update and run, please do both. Once it updates, run the program and perfrom a QUICK scan only. When it is through scanning it will ask you to click on the show results button. When you do that it will show you the infections it has found, make sure they are all selected and delete them. You should be malware free now.

VIRUS INFECTION , YOUR SYSTEM IS INFECTED

this is what sounds like a trojan or for of spyware, probably disguised as a screen saver. If you have no anti virus installed download this programme for free http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5#avg-anti-virus-free If you have no anti spyware programme download this for free. http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5 on the laptop press Ctrl, Alt & delete or right click on task bar to get to the task manager and on the processes tab look for the scrensaver.exe or similair that is running, click on it and press end process. this should allow you to work with windows Install the programmes, then go to system restore tab in my computer>right click>properties>system restore tab and click 'turn off system restore'(this will stop any virus or spyware backups reinstalling). Run both the programmes and remove any spyware or virus. If it still appears you may have to uninstall it safe mode, which is press F8 key on start up and select 'start windows in safe mode' and run the antivirus and spyware programmes again.
