SOURCE: Is it possible to convert

Note - You must have an Armature License to legally perform this conversion.
1. Remove bottom cover from radio. 2. On the main PCB, locate J33. (See diagram above) 3. Locate wires on pins marked "P5" (yellow) & "P6" (grey). 4. Cut wire on "P5" (yellow) and install a SPST switch in line. 5. Cut wire on "P6" (grey) and install a SPST switch in line. NOTE: By using two of the function switches available on the radio will eliminate the need for two new switches to be installed and mounted.

I need a manual for texas ranger free spirit cb model tr127fs manual. Can you help me?

I would try using the manual for the TR 127GK or the DX models and see how they work out for you. I did a google search and came up with nothing.

Texas ranger cb tr-396FC \r\nhello, do not hear anything in the speaker and do not find any scheme or service manual. Yours sincerely

Is the speaker the internal or external one ? disconnect the external speaker then take a multimeter on ohms with sound and touch the pos and neg contacts . you will hear a beep ,now look at the meter and read what ohm reading you have.check to make sure you are on band mode and not pa . If you hear nothing add an external speaker which will over ride the internal speaker and see if you still get nothing. Now that you have confirmed this you may want to take it to a tech and have them fix it. And I did a google search and found a service manual for this radio .

When close to other trucks with cb,s voices are garbled until aprox. 50 yards distance then sound clears up.

Hi, my name is John. That,s normal, just roll your RF- GAIN back a little bit until clarified, good luck, John

Hi i have a texas ranger 696f base and cant find any info on it to adjust my rf signal meter can you help m?

schematics and alignment procedures are widely available for this radio on the internet. a little research goes a long way.

p.s. if you don't know what you are doing leave it for a skilled tech. you could cause some major issues if you "allign" the wrong thing.
