Vimal be09 HI you doing it the wrong way sorry to tell you that. . You need to go to music player . hit the icon and then hit the menu button and you should see a menu that has a list of options. Hit the the song you want as your ring tone . It will then you it the menu icon again and you should now be able to save it as your ringtone. You need to look for set as when you hit the menu key. Hope this help.
I think that there have been some mistake.....Caller Tune means the ring-tone which is hearing by someone who is calling you.So you cannot set the caller tune yourself, it is provided by the Sim service provider. Here However, Ring-Tone means the tone which you are hearing when someone is calling you.We can easily set this tone by using....Menu......>Profile...........>Ringing tone setting....Set the tone what you wish............................
No no Sir, you can't use Mp3 format as a ringtone in Nokia 6600, the format you were using before was WAV, you just need to convert all your Mp3 tones to WAV using this free tool.
Transfer the Converted WAV tones in your Cell and Enjoy.

Waqar.
Go to settings to phone to sound and select message tone. (or on those lines). There you will find a list of all the ring tones, including your MP3 collection. Select the ringtone that you have as your ringtone.
the message that u see every time is about the phone's memory and not memory card's . so try reducing the data in the "my files "folder by coping or moving it to memory card. >>> your phone(e 1410 copies the desired ring tone first to phone . The ring tone can't be set via memory card.
yes, try to convert them to .MID format if it didnt work. go and see what format the original ringtones on the phone are and convert the ring tone you want to that format (some phones are .acc)
You can but the file needs to be labeled My Ringtones. If you have tones in the ringtone folder and its still not working check the size and format of the tones, windows mobile 6 was only designed to accept tones under 320k and in .mp3 or .wav formats.
you cant set regular songs (mp3) as ring tones. only ring tone files (m4a,wav) as ring tones. they are shortened versions. try Http://www.nextpimp.com for some good ring tones that are totally free
