Attempting to Register Adobe Photoshop Album 3.0 Error

I have been trying to registerthis software and received error message-"Cannot find about:blank Make sure the path or internet address is correct." I click on OK. Then I receive a second message stating, "Runtime Error!" "Program :...Starter Edition .0shared_assetslocalesen_usADB2.EXE abnormal program termination. Now I cannot retrieve my pictures because of these error messages keep popping up. I have tried all I know to do including rebooting and nothing seems to work. Can you help me? Thank you, Andrea

I have the exact problem. I try to register to unlock my photos and it keeps saying that run time error try again and the program closes. Help

I received an unlock code from the Adobe Company and was able to unlock the program. I am now able to view my pictures and use other functions of the program.

Thank you for your assistance and help that you provide.

Trouble Launching

Hello,

Did you receive this software with a camera or printer as freeware? That version is probably not compatible with your version of the Mac Operating System or the CPU you are using, one of the two. In your basic menu you may have a program called Boot Camp. This emulates Windows. If you can launch that you may be able to install your program from there, just point to the Windows version of photoelements.

Version 2.0 is discontinued and there is no support or patches for it available at Adobe. See the Adobe Notice at the end of my relpy to you. This installer version you have cannot be fixed unfortunately since patches are not available.

You can download a trial version of 6.0 that retails for 89.99 should you decide to keep it. The web page is located here. http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopelmac/

Photoshop CS3 Error

I've never heard of this, unless the user is saving to a PDF format. Have you tried saving a Photoshop document in a different format? Photoshop files are: PSD's or PDD's. I have only ever seen 'presets' in PDF format. In CS3, these are set by selecting: Edit> Adobe PDF Presets.

Adobe photoshop album starter edition 3.0

Photoshop Album Starter Editions (PASE) doesn't 'store' photos. When you 'import' pictures, it only saves a thumbnail and remembers the location of the original file. It isn't designed as a filing solution. You have to locate and keep track of your original files. Here's an article explaining it in more detail.
