Does anyone know if there might be a reset on this machine? Even internally? It was working just fine for all these years & then all of a sudden I got this flashing error message. I would greatly appreciate ANY help!
Thank You!
The only reset you can do on these is to unplug it for several hours and then plug it back in. This will reset the microprocessor .
This error could be many different problems and are usually not solved by resetting the machine. You may have a laser pick up, microprocessor that is bad, a memory ic bad, a voltage regulator bad. There is just no way to tell without troubleshooting it with the proper tools. Most error codes for this type of unit do not tell the service technician exactly what the problem is. It will only point them in the right direction.
Sorry this was not more help, but I have fixed a few of these with that same error code and it was different problems every time.
And please don't give me a bad rating for answering your question honestly. I have been repairing audio equipment for almost 18 years, I really do know what I am talking about.
I wish you luck, and hope that the reset works for you.
Let me know if I can be any more help to you.
