You need to install webcam driver for win 7. If you already have you try to reinstall the driver. If you need the drivers you can get it here

I cannot get the crystal eye webcam app to run on my Aspire 4730z. with Windows 7. The driver is fine and the webcam works with skype but when I attempt to launch the app I get " no webcam...

Does the webcam work on a vista computer or xp? It may be a compatibility issue because your program and webcam are used on windows 7 and the programming has not been created to support those two together yet.

Crystal eye webcam for acer aspire 6920G says camera not found

hey, I had the same problem, I've got an Acer Aspire 6920 and I swapped out Vista that was on it for Windows XP

I went to the link you posted but it just goes to acer.com
so I figured I'd try something

if you go to acer aspire 6920 drivers, you can only pick Vista and Windows 7, and not Windows XP

instead, pick 6530 drivers (older acer) and pick the Bison driver:
