Simple, some Radio Shack models respond to their preset lock out override control protocol. Try holding the lock out button and the scanner should override the lock out on the banks. If that doesn't work, you may need to un-lock them one by one, which may be time consuming. Or, you could reprogram the scanner all together.

Hope this helps!

Rbs online banking

Once you're "locked out" you have to call the support number, verify several identifiers and they'll email you a temporary password that will allow you to reset it to the password of your choice.

I have the BC370CRS SCANNER I am trying to clear all the memory and reset it. It is telling me to hold down 2, 9, and hold and turn it on. That is not working. Can you please tell me another way to do...

Locking/Unlocking Banks When you are scanning conventional banks, the scanner displays the digit corresponding to all unlocked banks. To lock out a bank so that the scanner does not scan its channels, press the letter that corresponds to the bank. The bank's letter disappears from the display. To unlock locked-out banks, simply press that bank's letter again. The bank's letter appears on the display and the scanner includes that bank when scanning. Note: You cannot lock out all banks. One bank must be unlocked at all times. Locking/Unlocking Channels To lock out a channel so that the scanner does not stop on it while scanning, press L/O when the scanner is stopped on that channel, or manually select the channel and press L/O. To unlock the channel, manually select it and press L/O again. Restoring All Locked Out Channels You can restore all locked-out channels in a bank only when the bank is selected for scan. Follow these steps to restore all locked-out channels in a bank. 1. If you de-selected the bank, press SCAN then press the bank's letter. 2. Press MANUAL. 3. Hold down L/O for about 2 seconds. To clear the locked out frequencies in a bank:

Unfortunately the PRO-2096 does not have a global clear function like many scanners have.

If there is no frequencies on your scanner it will lock all channels out. if all your frequencies are on one bank and you accidentally hit that bank number and turn it off it will lock out all channels. If that's the case just hit that bank no. back on and they will unlock.

Pro-96 ,channels 1 thru 9 are locked out ,only 0 is

You are referring to banks, not channels. When bank 0 is active, then you push 0 to de-activate it, you have now removed all your banks from the scan list. To re-activate any bank, just press any number. This is confusing because locking out a channel and removing a bank from the scan list are two very different operations but use the same terminology.
