kindy check the LSU cable from Main pba to LSU, that may be broken cause the LSU error,

The LSU error may be due to the failure of following
1- harness between lsu and main PBA.- repair/replace the harness.
2-lsu itself-clean optical path inside lsu with dry lintfree cotton cloth.
3-Main PBA- replace the main board.

repalce laser unit or check menu # 1931 lsu mirro test

LSU = laser scanning unit. I have a similar problem and i solved it by reseting my printers memory. You must enter tech mode. --> Data setup --> Clear all mem
