Old whirlpool washing machine won't run.

Machine worked fine last night, now won't do anything.

Washer worked fine last load it quit working apparently in the middle of the wash cycle cause clothes were soaking wet. Now the lights won't come on, the machine don't work. I have tried unplugging and plugging back in. I have tried plugging into another outlet. I have unloaded the washer. I have flipped breakers. Tried shutting the door several times. STILL NOTHING! Please help.

If no lights suspect main control bd remove rear screws in top panle remove top by sliding towar back control is along rear

Where the power cord goes into the washer is a small box called a line filter. It is there to protect the electronics in the control. It might be that the line voltage filter has failed. Remove the rear panel on the control to access it. Calypso Service Manual

Control Lock is on, how do I reset the machine?

Press and hold down "end of cycle" button at right side of panel for 3 - 5 seconds. This is the child lock feature, do it again and the machine locks.
