I can not remember the password for the my toshiba satellite laptop a205. thanks please advise what can be done.

If you have a Windows password reset disk, you can easily reset your Windows password with it. If not, you can follow the steps to create one. You just need an available computer linked to the Internet.

Step 1: Download and install Windows Password Breaker with the available computer.

Step 2: Run the program and burn a Windows password reset disk. It could be burned onto a CD/DVD OR USB flash drive.

Step 3: Turn to your locked computer, insert the newly created CD or USB to your drive. Reboot the Computer and reset the Windows password.

It is easy and safe.

If you have another account on your laptop that has administrator rights, log in into that account and change the password for your account. If you have an administrator account (even if you don't try putting in Administrator and leave password field blank) try using that account to reset the password, otherwise try one of the following:
