Try this way....connect device to pc...go to my computer... see device open it...now go to start/my computer/c drive/ find the mp3 files... open the folder (min both windows side by side) copy/paste or click/drag the mp3 files from folder to device....same thing for photos

Did your unit come with a USB cable, if yes then simply plug it into a usb socket in your PC and the MP3 player will be seen as a "removable disc" , navigate and find the folder to store the mp3 in. Cut and paste and enjoy. The mp3 player should be on or this.
