Question about Televison & Video

3 year old Mitsubish 52" DLP mdl.WD-52627 TV displays all "Red" colors as Brown-Grey in color. Going to the color level menu and maxing out the Red color bar does no good. Also intensifying the color level strength to "max" color does no good. Screen is mostly Blues, Browns, Greens & Yellows. I have changed the DLP lamp. Is there a "light color gun" or color amplifier in the set that has gone bad? Thanks, Bill.

I need to know what the various colored wires connect to since I needed to remove the old amp and install an after market stereo.

Check the speakers connection and that should give you at least 8 of the colors. The ones left then are going to be ground and power and display power. You can figure those out with a meter.

Mitsubishi wd-52627 dlp hdtv doesn't appaer as

I have seen alot of the Mitsubishi DLPs to get very dim and the colors appear dull and the cause was almost always caused by the small front mirror needing to be cleaned due to a dust build up. If you need assistance with how to access the mirror on that model send me a email and I will send you info on how to access the mirror. The file is too large to post here. [email protected]

No display or sound on Mitsubishi WD-52725

This is a DLP They have issues with the color wheel, the winding sound could be from this color wheel. If it stops spinning it will cause the tv to shut down. DLP is a mechanical display process. If you are handy and understand electronics you could replace this yourself. If not i would let a tech handle it.

Wd 52525 52 in dlp tv screen needs cleaned

all you have to do is, take the 12 screws out from around the screen, from the back, there are also like 4 of them on the front, but usually , you can just lean the screen out far enough to use a swifer sweeper in there, and the dust isnt going to be on the back of the screen, it will be on the projecter, do the screen while the tv is on, then you will realy see the dust on the projecter

52" Samsung DLP

It is unlikely that you can do anything yourself.
It sounds to me that there is a power supply problem that has steadily gotten worse and that cannot be confirmed remotely, it must be done on site by an equipped professional.
