Bionaire Humidifier CP-2550U warm mist: powers on, reset light is on. Took it apart and nothing is obviously wrong with the computer board. Heating element is nearly clean of scale. Wasn't in use for the past 7 months. Where is the low-water sensor located? Any way to bypass the sensor?

I've had this problem before and with mine, the issue is the water is not making its way into the correct reservoir on the bottom of the machine. With experimentation, I discovered that my tilting the machine slightly upwards on the righthand side corrects the problem (i.e. put something aprox. 3-5mm thick underneath the right side of the machine). You will hear that the water "move" to the left side of the machine and thus ensuring proper operations. I think this is a design flaw (for some machines) as clearly I have the same problem too.

SOURCE: I have a bionaire model w-9 humidifier. the

currently through the information that i have seen right now, the regulators are out of stock. the best thing that i can suggest is try the manufacturer or local hardware stores. now if your in canada you can always try canadian tire. i will keep looking just in case you aren't able to find one locally.

turn the unit off then take the tank off then the base which is the fan portion and the filter fits right there.. if it's a round filter then it slips right on. now if it's the squares they will slip into some slots and usually they will take about 4 if that's the case. if you have any other question please feel free to let me know.
