MCS 730 error - tamper open. Although tamper is closed.

Sounds like an error code for a system that has been opened up. Make sure that the case is completely closed tight, unplug the system, plug it back in, and reboot it.

There are actually two Bernina 730 machines (confusing, huh?). One is the 730 Record from around 1960. The other is the more modern 730 computerized model made in the 21st century.

The 730 Record has a hidden pressure adjustment. Lift the top cover and locate the screwhead on the very left side (left of the takeup lever knuckles). This screw loosens or tightens the spring that applies pressure on the presser foot.

Most alarm systems require you to reset the tamper alarm.
Most systems will reset the tamper simply by arming the system and then immediately disarming the system. However, you MUST make sure that the Tamper circuit you tripped is closed. If you removed the cover on the panel, make sure the tamper switch for the cover is in the correct position and that the cover is pressing the switch and closing its contacts. If you are trying to arm the panel with a cover off, the tamper circuit will not reset unless you defeat the tamper switch. Just make sure you remove the defeat when you replace the cover. You may also wish to try a google search on the type and model of panel you have so you can download a copy of the manual to check on the reset procedure. We also need to know what brand and model the panel is so we can help you further..

2 for tamper, 2 for alarm and 2 for power. Extra wires are unused. tape off and tuck away from the terminal block.

Hi if you gently rub the lens cover you will find it should open ok

1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.
2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select HBM-730 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

Actually it's a Treo 680. Finally took the battery out of the phone. That seemed to clear everything so that I pair the bluetooth with no problem.
