I have replaced my ATT Tilt keyboard with an HTC OEM keyboard (blue digits instead of silver keys) but it appears only a few of the keystrokes for certain letters work. I have tried to install the HTC keyboard CAB but it did not make any difference. Any ideas?
If possible try another of same type.

Http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334911 HERE IS THE LINK TO DOWNLOAD TILT KEYBOARD FIX.It's important that you uninstall the older cab (if you even installed it), then soft reset. Then install the new one and soft reset one more time. That should do it. Install Soft Reset. THANK YOU!!!

Is it suitable? what does that mean. It does fit and uses all current connections. Is that what you mean?
The OEM keyboard fits all the connections. So how would it not be 'suitable'...
Thanks..but I see after closer look I had a QWERTZ keyboard with Entf (instead of Del) so it look like they sent me a German keyboard. So I don't know if that is why or if it is just a bad one since I only get a few letters working. I would think all the letters would work, they just might be the wrong mapped letter. The fix you gave me was for ATT Tilt keyboard, not a replacement keyboard (with just blue numerals instead of the silver keys). If you can come up with another solution, let me know, otherwise, I may just have to replace with the old ATT keyboard.
