Hi
If the dryer is not drying the clothes then you would need to check for the following things-
Electric Dryer---
1. Inspect the fuses and circuit breakers they may have burned out or tripped. Usually, dryer will still tumble but not create heat if a fuse or a circuit breaker is not working.
2. Check for the amp reading at 240 V, it should have reading of 24, 21 and 3 amp (approx.) for 2 lines and neutral respectively.
3. Heating element may have turned or the connection to the element might be loose. Sometimes a shorted circuit element will keep on blowing the fuse or circuit breaker.
4. Motor wiring shorting to ground.
Gas Dryer---
1. Inspect the fuses and circuit breakers they may have burned out or tripped. Usually, dryer will still tumble but not create heat if a fuse or a circuit breaker is not working.
2. Check for the continuity of the heating element in your gas dryer using a multimeter. Replace the element if continuity is not there.
3. Inspect the thermal fuse if it is burnt out, it is attached to the exhaust duct on the back panel of the gas dryer. Replace if necessary.
4. Check the igniter by first disconnecting it, and then place the probes onto the two contacts of the igniter. The meter should read under 100 Ohms of resistance, if it is above 100 then replace the igniter.
5. Check the continuity on the flame sensor. The sensors are usually located close by the igniter so are easily visible.
Hope this helps...
Daniel

No heat in a gas dryer Model 110.709.12990 Seems like it slowly lost heat.

This problem is usually the dryer coils are failing. They tend to fail as they heat up. They are inexpensive and easy to replace. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/gdryertroublevideo.html

Dryer lost heat according to different cycles

the model number you have is for a gas dryer if this is an electric dryer then you can access the heating element by removing the back cover this has a small element you can remove it by taking the 1/4 inch screws from the sides of the element there could be two screws or just one remove the screws and pull the element out you con then visually inspect it but the best way is to ohm it out with a meter but your problem sounds more like a timer

Kenmore electric dryer 8662100 drum turns, no heat

you have probably lost one leg of your power supply feed 120volts+120volts=240volts,your motor will operate on 120volts, but the element won't,also if you have 240volts the neutral wire to the element can burn off w/heat and age

Maytag Dryer has lost heat...

I would think the timer is not used but a humidifier when on auto dry mode. Check the humidistat, should be either make or break contacts, open or closed.
