Replaced lamp. Then I turned it on blinking green light and then yellow. can you help troubleshoot

3 Red Blinks, 6 Yellow Blinks - Exhaust Fan Not Working
3 Red Blinks, 7 Yellow Blinks - DMD Fan is not rotating
5 Red Blinks, 7 Yellow Blinks - Ballast Problem
6 Red Blinks, 6 Yellow Blinks - Lamp Missing, Bad Cable between lamp and ballast

I have a wd-57731 The lamp light blinked orange. i replaced the lamp turned the tv on and the timer blinks green for one minute and then the lamp light blinks orange again. It won't turn on. Can you suggest anything?

Which light is blinking yellow/orange and can you count how many blinks in 5 seconds its doing and let me know as thats an error indicator.

Are you sure you installed the lamp properly and put the door back so the interlock switch is functioning. Sometimes installing the lamp will get slightly displaced and is not plugged up properly and will indicate a lamp blinking light.

some times when the lamp is not sitting in place it will give you this problem. removed the lamp, put it back and make sure it goes all the way in. close the door and attach screws if any. remember if the lamp door is not close, your tv will not turn on. had the same problem until i reseted the lamp in place. good luck

Check Lamp Fan if it stops running when Lamp trys to Light ,Then Lamp will not Power up,or Ballast Board itis what powers Lamp on.

Hi,
Question shows tv is Sony KDF-60WF655.
Green light blinks when tv gets prepare to fire up lamp, check internal circuits then show picture on front screen.
Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure.
Count the red light blink as you will see 3 second long pause and post it here to diagnose what section of tv got problem.
Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years?

I looked up the manual online - after you replace the bulb, you need to reset the bulb life timer. Using the TV remote push the menu button, SETUP menu, select the lamp reminder option to reset the hours to zero. That might help the status indicators.
