No I didn't, still the message indicater shows message in INBOX, but INBOX is empty?????????????

This icon on the display indicats that "You have one or more unread messages in the Inbox folder in Messaging".

i cant send or receive messages from my mobile, sony ericsson w100i . "Message Corrupt" is the message given when i open my inbox in a conversation mode. in normal inbox i can see an empty message. Before a week it showed "Out of memory delete messages" displayed. And i bought this mobile only before 2 weeks ago.. Please solve my problem.

Go to Menu--message--inbox--open up the message which u want to delete n then press the option button---u will see Erase/Delete as an option then click OK.Again press OK if asks for confirmation.That's how u empty your inbox. If u want to delete all the inbox messages then for that also you have an option in the inbox. Just don't forget to press the "Option" button if u have to see the function.

Try deleting your web browser cookies and empty the cache. Sometimes, that helps when we get the same weird "ghost" messages.

Open the inbox and click View All Messages, click unread messages, if you have any on the last page as late arrivals or in folders they will show. This has been happening to all of us while yahoo has been upgrading the classic mail. Yahoo says this is a glitch and will clear on it's own. Did for all of us. Refreshing the page, restarting the comp and clicking on the number don't work. Only Yahoo and time. When it happened to me, my mail alerts also quit working so I had to continually look to see if I had new mail. It was maddening, then all of a sudden one day it cleared and my alerts were restored all on it's own.

You might not be looking at your inbox. Particularly with Windows Live Hotmail's new interface, it's easy to overlook which mail folder you might have selected. If you've accidentally clicked on a folder that has nothing it, like "Drafts", it might appear that your inbox is empty. Before panicking, click on the "Inbox" icon on the left to make sure you're looking where you think you are. This also clears "full message view" which can obscure the list of messages in your inbox.
You've selected a display filter. Next to the "Sort by" item in the Windows Live Hotmail column header is a small icon that allows you to "Show only messages..." that meet a criteria. For example you could elect to show only messages that have an attachment. If there are none, then your inbox will appear empty. Once again, clicking on the inbox icon to the left will clear the filter and show you all messages in your inbox.
It just disappeared for reasons unknown. I hate to even have to include this as a possibility, but as best I can tell it happens. Recently it seemed to occur as accounts were switched from the old style MSN Hotmail to the new Windows Live Hotmail, but that should be over by now. Nonetheless, I've not been able to determine a common cause or reason. It just happens
You can try to contact customer support. The quickest route I found was this link: https://support.live.com/eform.aspx, and then click on Windows Live Hotmail. You can then submit a support request.

try a master reset of teh phone...if that does not work then the phone will need to be flash you can try topsony.com or take it to a mobile service center and have it reflash.

I have deleted all my mails in all folders...but yet there is still 1 unread message..there is nothing left in my folders inbox, spam, drafts, sent

options > empty inbox (this will empty the entire inbox!!) unless its just one message then you delete that one only!! and and make sure ur in inbox of course!
