Error message and won't print

I moved my computer (desktop), printer, etc. from my office to my home. Now when I try to print I get this message:
There was an error writing to BRUSB. for the printer HL-1240.
System cannot write to the specified device.

It is connected to my computer via a USB cable - I've checked it several times and even moved it to other USB ports on my computer and no luck. Any ideas?

Change the USB cable
tray to re install the usb port from device manager

Must be set on Brother MFC-7360N series. Set on PC-FAX will not print with all programs, as it is printing with an output through the fax. Go to control panel, select devices, printers to change to pc-7360 series. This should print on all programs.

My office jet G85 won't print. No error messages appear,it has a new color cartridge,it copies, but won't print from my computer.

If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.

Same computer? If not, uninstall software and reinstall.

check workgroup names are the same on both computers

better setup
If it is an ethernet network
Get a usb to Ethernet print server and you can print to the printer without having to keep a receiving computer turned on .

Xerox Phaser 6120 Error 21 OHP Detect Sensor

Hopefully you waited 30 min to an hour before moving it .if not you may have sloshed the ink within the unit witch will require a through cleaning these are great units but they can only be moved when ink wells have cooled off. To be safe at leased an hour. It's real hard to move them without sloshing because they are very heavy a must to cool. Good luck.

Printing Error

Try this:

1. Power off the printer
2. After re-boot: click start, control panel, printers & faxes and delete the printer.
3. Re-install the printer with the original driver disc.
There are many suggested solutions to spool problems but try this first. If this does not work we'll go to the other solutions.
