Question about Cadkey Corp CADKEY Version 6
I got the invalid language error recently rescuing a copy of CADKEY 19
from an old WIndows 2k server for an engineer where I work.
I eventually was able to get rid of the error message by searching for
the string CK19 in regedit and altering keys with invalid paths to them
from the previous install.
CADKEY 19 seems to store a lot of static paths in the Windows registry, I had to update at least a dozen or so.
Using the Find Next feature with regedit made finding the keys and updating them purty easy.

I recently got the Invalid Language Error. Here is what I did, cannot tell you which fixed it but it is working now. Installed first time with Custom Install and turned off everything except Program files. This was my original Intention. Bare Bones install.I then got the error. 1.) I created a folder under C:\Cadkey99 called English. 2.)I reran the install as Compact Installation. My guess is that the install fails to create the English Folder, then it fails to put files there. I think by manually creating the folder, the second pass at the install, then has a place to put the files and it works. Hope this helps, Good Luck to all you Old School Cadkey users!!
