I'm completely new with video cameras, and have no idea what I;m doing. I recently purchased a Sony Handycam DCR-SR82, and I wanted to know how to upload the videos onto my PC, which is Windows. Any help at all would be appreciated.

I no longer have the software for the sony handycam DCR-SR82, but need to transfer the movies to my sony vaio laptop. i tried to figure out the PMB thing but couldn't find the main download for it....

Sony have had 1000's of these camera LCD's go down since 2007 on lots of Sony Movie cameras, did you get recall notice like I did in 2008?

i dont think that your camcorder is compatible with mac. you can see the compatibility of your camcorder here.

Dcr-sr82 screen will not come on

Did you press the disp/batt info button? That should turn the screen back on because it sounds like the screen is still working...
