Incoming calls I just got phone yesterday,really like it setting up fine but now I have tried to call it from a house landline rings twice on my end goes to voice mail,but as for phone no rings,no sound,does not record missed [email protected] thanks Kathy

Seems that either the phone company has cut-off your incoming service (which they do for non-payment), or you have activated a "feature" and need to turn it off.

(phone companies cannot turn off local-outgoing calls for non-payment because that would prevent you from calling 911)

Have you tried calling your landline to see if you hear a message?

A simple call to your Telco Provider would probably resolve this quicker.

Dear Please find the answers below:
(a) Cell Phone Sim1 and Sim2 both reject calls made from residence Landline, but when calling from Sim1 and Sim2 to residence Landline, both calls go through. This is actually the problem of service provide I think as this some times happens with me as well, try other landline nos, if it works it is not the handset problem.
(b) To set Ringtones to Call Alert Sim1, tried: Menu - Settings - Phone Profiles - Normal - Voice Edit . The screen does not change on pressing Voice Call Ringtones. Spent countless hours trying to set Ringtones for incoming calls of Sim1 & Sim2, Messages alert for Sim1 & Sim2, but did not succeed You have to do as follows: Menu - Settings - Phone Profiles - Normal - Edit - Voice Call Ringtone - Music - Card / Phone and chose your required Ring tone.
(c) Could not clear multiple Icons overlapping each other on main screen. You have to tap on the Screen the Widgets will come on left side. Put your finger on the Icon - Icon will increase in Size - now without picking the finger from Screen just drag the icons on the Left Widget Slider bar, it will go on it.

to get the phone in to "factory mode"
Now all incoming and outgoing calls are set.

Looks like the basic functions of the phone are correct. Remain the answering machine. Are you sure it can act as an answering machine?
If it can act as answering machine the reason it is not doing so may be the following.

1. Answering function is turned OFF
2. Answering function may be ON but the number of rings before it answers is set too high.

I suggest you try the following
Call you phone. Let it ring at least 10 times. If it can act as an answering machine it will pick up the phone and read the welcome message, because most answering machines (the recent ones at least) answer after 10 rings even if answering function is turned OFF.

The phones that can be answering machines usually do have a display that shows the number of incoming messages, or a LED that flashes to let you know that you have new recorded messages.

My experience with an old (100+) and newer house is that it is important to make sure your telephone wires coming into the house, and the junction block where all the wires connect, stay clean and dry. If the wires can get damp or dirty, then when that 90 volts of ringing voltage come down the line, it may find a low impedance path. At my old house I had to make sure the outside wires didn't touch the ground or get damp. In my newer house, I discovered the wiring block was near a dryer vent where it got a ton of fuzz on it, plus the moisture, so eventually our phones stopped ringing even though we could make calls and our DSL was not affected. When we exposed and cleaned up the wiring block so that the phone company tech could re-visit us to troubleshoot things, suddenly it started working again.

You can set it for manual mode.
Or set it for fax only but set the incomming ring count to more than 8 times that will give you time to answer a call before it go to fax.

You are transferring calls from your cell to your landline? Need more info.

Well there is no way that you can block the call from your cell phone it's not like a landline phone, but you can push on the button on the left side of the phone that looks like a microphone and it will say silent or ignore and you can hit ignore and your phone will stop ringing

Try to reset the unit with the phone again.
