When i go to put any disc into the Playstation3, it doesn't respond by taking it. No gears move or anything, it just acts as if there is no disc to pick up. How can i get my Playstation3 to take a disc so i can play movies or games?

Check the transmission fluid level then smell it if it smells burned have the fluid and filter changed if all is good try using a product called TransX you should notice a difference within 15 minutes. I hope this helps. Take care.

I believe you have a slipping gears and looks like the gear box need overhauling. Take it to an Automatic Transmission Specialist to Diagnose.Do not leave it and use it any further,surely you will cause serious damage and cost.

do you mean that on the attempt to move first gear? if is that probably you will have a clutch problem.Either is you clutch disc broken springs,your pressure plate doesn't release the disc properly,or your hydraulic clutch system -if it is hydraulic- doesn't work properly.

Your clutch discs are stuck together, happens sometimes when a bike sits for a LONG TIME. The oil basically acts kinda like glue. you need to get in there and take the clutch discs out and clean them off and put it back together. Of course you might find that the primary(clutch area) is full of water. It happens because the vent for the clutch goes up under the seat and can act like a funnel and drain water back into the case.

Well i got a camry same engine I am getting my car checked this Friday because it feels loose on 2nd and 4th gears. I might end up with the same problem if I fail to get it repaired through payday advance. I'll let you know I checked my linkage and everything seems to be ok .. There is no looseness. But shifting into second gear you cant feel it ... I'll post it up when I manage to find out..Thanks for your patience.

If your ps3 disc drive still makes sound maybe the top lid of the disc drive is not in the correct spot. Have you opened it before? Thats how the disc drive will get out of line. If you havent opened it before it might just need a good cleaning and lubricated. How to fix it if its out of line is to take ps3 lid off take disc drive lid off hook it up and place a cd in it and let the drive accept the disc then put everything back together with the disc in the disc drive. Now it should work right.

The disc spins but doesn\'t show anything. It goes straight to the browser and system configuration screen. It acts like there\'s no disc in it.

Hopefully it's just the clutch, you may have snapped a shaft too. If the engine was just idling, I can't imagine it did too much damage, even with those miles.

try taking it out of gear then try to crank it.is the starter motor moving?might be stuck.

try to clean the lens using cd cleaner or cotton buds with drop of water on it. that really works.
