If Pendrive is glowing but not detected by the system, it may depends on the operating system you are using.
If it is linux then try mounting it first ...use command
---> fdisk -l and look for that drive.
--->then mount /dev/sdb,
To Correct this problem, Right Click on "My Computer" and Choose
"Manage". Choose Disk Management. The name of your USB-Pen Drive
should show up on the list of "Disks".
Right-Click on the Name of your USB-Pen (The part to the right) and choose "Change Drive Letter and Paths..."
It will show your drive letter as E:, most likely!
Select "Change" and choose a letter you are not using.
It will warn you that if you make this change, you may loose info.
(This applies if you already had a good link to the drive and were using it!)
Click Ok, and your USP-Pen should Pop-Up!
one another way is try downloading that usb software from internet and then try using pen-drive...
ur pendrive is glowing which means its working , if it prompt a message "usb unrecognized" then seriously you need to worry
Umm, how old are your computer and laptops that you're using to check?
It could be that they don't have a USB 2.0 port.
Is there any message at the bottom right of your computer when you plug it in saying anything related to a USB device.
Also you can click on Start/"right-click" My Computer/Manage/Device Manager/Universal Serial Bus Controllers --- make sure that this says it's working properly and enabled.
