Hi,

How to create an IP address into your Printer
1, Connect to LAN network
2, Power ON the Printer.
3, Select MENU Button
4, Go to System Settings, then select Network Settings.
5, You can see TCP/IP , View IP ,etc.....

In different Printer settings will be different.
Now You can add printer into your computer

How do i install laserjet printer p4015n on a network

put the printer on
connect a straight cable from printer to your switch in network
now read the instruction manual the default ip is written over there
note it
now from any system in network
open network connections click on properties
goto tcp/ip
click properties
click advance
in tab-ip setting add any other ip of same class which was printer's default ip
ex- if printers ip was 192.168.0.1 add 192.168.0.7
now apply all settings
now on the same computer type the printers ip in any browser
this will give the access of printer to you
change ip setting according to your network class
i.e. assign the printer your network class ip
now you can access the printer from any system in network
do one thing that put drivers of printer in some sharable drive on the network
now you can goto any system add printer from control panel
select network printer
select the printer

when prompted provide location of drivers of printer
you are done .

Net gear router won't install properly and will not let me use the internet

Hi,

You may want to try:
  • If both your router and modem have DHCP features enabled, disable the one in the modem;
  • manually set the Internet/WAN IP add of the router to follow the IP add of the modem;
  • manually set the default gateway of the Internet/WAN side of the router to use the IP add of the modem;
  • set the PCs connected to the router to automatically obtain IP adds.
  • verify that the PCs uses as their default gateway the IP add of the router.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
