The bottom element has failed and will need to be replaced.

You will need to remove the element by undoing the fixing screws and the electical connectors then when you have got your replacement fit it by the same method.

Remember to turn the power off before you start.

Hotpoint oven won't heat above 250 degrees broiler works fine as well as the stove top

either its the oven sensor rod located at the top of the ovens cavity,or your bake element could be getting a hot spot which is when it gets a discolored spot in the element and can no longer pass sufficient current to heat the oven past 250 degrees

Hello, We have a bosch hbn7052gb oven. The lower oven flashed and now the bottom oven doesn't heat up, everything else works ok the fan, the top oven etc. Can you advise what needs...

Bottom element has failed. Probably 2 screws at rear to remove & replace. Disconnect fast-ons from rear - extract element - replace. best to get electrician to do this - simple job & element should be inexensive. - Rick

Top oven on uy46 working, bottom oven light coming on but no heat coming in??

If the fan is working o/k, then you need to replace the oven element, located behind cover at rear of oven compartment, very straightforward repair to do.

The oven just stopped working in our hotpoint ew51 cooker everything else still works any idea,s

the oven control switch is bad, or you have a burned out oven element top or bottom. If your broiler heat comes on, the top is o.k., then the bottom element needs replaced

Oven not getting hot

The fan oven element needs to be replaced in the Hotpoint 6150 cooker.
Access is by removing the inner rear cover of the oven, there you will see the element.
Replace with a new one.

It is possible the base element is faulty in the top oven of the Hotpoint EW95,
The other possibility is that the high speed grill element is only part working. You need to check both these elements.
If the fan is working o/k in the main oven , but not getting hot, then you need to replace the element.
If it does heat, then it could be a faulty thermostat or possibly selector switch.
Unless you have a good working knowledge of electrics and know how to use a meter, then I would suggest you call some one in.
Plz rate my solution
Thanks.
