I have a RPL 30. When starting, as soon as I let go of the button, it stops heating. I have another that it happened to also. Same model. Any help will be great. Thank you. Greg

see this possible causes:
Water-heating cycle
heat, wash, and rinse has the 3 cicle, principal problem is the heat cycle, when the water reach the level ( by heating water elements) test the heating elements , most ot the time fixing this .the problem is o.k
Timer

I used to have a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music which is similar to 5530 and when i encountered some problems with it i always restore it to factory Settings, Settings > Phone >Phone mgmt.> Factory settings > Yes > Enter the lock code and OK.
Be careful though it might remove some of your Data/Files

I had a dryer not the same model like yours but It had the same problem.

if you send the model number that's on the machine i can look up the parts for you,when this happens it could be two things,it could be the even heat board or the relay,if you open the top console you'll see two relays,one with red wires and the other with blue wires,the one on the right is for the motor,you can change out the relays to see if it will stay running but then you'll have no heat and you'll know the relay is bad,then just change out the felay on the left,that's for the heat,or if you have a meter check for continuity on the relay on the right side,if the relays are good and there is an even heat board also located in the console change that out,if it doesn't have either part then change out the start button,this is why i need the model number so i can look up your machine to help you better

The problem is 4 capacitors on the small circuit boards inside. Three 220uf 16V and one 1uf 50v. These apprear to be going bad from internal heat drying them out and they fail. Symptoms include toast will not start when button pressed, or does start but then stops soon after. A buzz or hum heard when the Toast selection is made..(you should hear nothing until the start button is pressed) and the timer beeper no longer working. These are about $2 in parts, and easy for a good electronics person.

Sometimes if your Phone Flashing Unexpectedly stopped and there may be Chance to be imei like 12345.So you need to Flah it by Another version...This will only make re Storing OF YOUR imei. RPL file can only Write IMEI to the Phone and will Solve the Problem.

• You need to write RPL file
• OR do flashing with another version(this will only work in the above some case)

take out the battery, plug in ac only, and try it again

Its possible the dryer heat selector is at fault. If the timer inside does not move to the end of the heat cycle you may have further problems.
