My refrigerator smells like rubbing alcohol - Amana ARB2557CSR / ARB2557CSL Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

Rubbing alcohol or methylated spirits (denatured alcohol) from the drugstore or hardware store are ideal to remove ink stains, as long as the stains have not set. The alcohol neutralizes the pigment in the ink so it disappears. Either soak a washable garment in rubbing alcohol or methylated spirits, then wash as normal,[2] or use the following process:

• Dip a clean cotton swab into rubbing alcohol.
• Dab at the soaked up ink mark with the cotton swab (bud) or small sponge.
• Repeat this each time with a fresh cotton swab or sponge, as many times as needed.
• Dip another fresh cotton swab or sponge into cold water and dab the area to remove the alcohol from the fabric. For best results, let the fabric dry before trying to remove the ink stains again. Rubbing alcohol works best on a dry fabric, but after each application you must rinse it with water. The process of removing heavy ink stains is a lengthy, cyclical process of blot, rinse and dry.
• Allow the area to dry. Wash the garment as normal.

It is more than likely just a dirty orfice. It can be cleaned quite easily by soaking it in rubbing alcohol then blowing it out. Do NOT POKE ANYTHING THROUGH IT! ArctiCold Refrigeration We keep it cold

Use air fresheners to eliminate smoke smell. After cleaning out the car, raid your pantry for odor eliminators. Dryer sheets placed under seats will help freshen the air. Also consider putting an open box of baking soda or a bowl of kitty litter in the car to absorb cigarette smell

Try this

Clean the refer with mild soap and water and leave open until it drys.
Take one part rubbing alcohol and one part vanilla, put into a spray bottle and spray all the cracks and crevices.
Roll newspaper into loose balls about the size of soccer balls and put threw out the refer,
Close doors,turn machine on and run 24 hours with only newspaper in it.
Throw away newspaper next day and odors should go with it!

I suggest you to get Windex and use a simple cloth to get the bestresult.Thereis a bit of alcohol in Windex but much less than straight rubbing alcoholthat's why I recommend it in addition it has a very good smell that less forlonger time.

Is it still cooling? If so it IS NOT FREON. Look again, i'm betting money you missed an orange that went south on you.

The only solution for a bad smell is to lay out newspaper on the shelfs and rub the plastic walls with vanilla extract. This has worked for many people and is rare not get rid of the smell.

rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer the alcohol dries fast and it wont hurt anything.. just take a towel and wipe it off.. i rub the sanitizer in my hand so its not running in globs and then rub the keyboard but if you use rubbing alcohol then just use a rag er something.. if its taking to long to air dry towel dry.. The smell has permeated the plastic, set a fresh box of baking soda in the fridge. Give it a few days and clean it with awesome or murphys oil soap. You can also use comet cleanser but if to much rubbing will scratch the plastic.

On which planet do you live that you cannot find simple rubbing alcohol. Everyone has or sells rubbing alcohol. You most likely have it in you medicine cabinet or first aid kit. The stuff can be found anywhere, a supermarket, pharmacy, hospital, even McDonalds...ok maybe not mcDonalds. But Everywhere.
