Although your phone does support custom POLYPHONIC ringtones, this phone does not support Samsung PC Studio - where you can use software to copy ringtones from your computer to your phone.

However, by downloading the Samsung USB drivers and IF you have a memory card you may be able to transfer your ringtones to the memory card in your phone from your computer then:

1. From the main screen, press 'OK on the navigation key' > MENU, use the right navigation key to
highlight 'Settings & Tools'.
2. Press Sounds Settings.
3. Press Call Sounds.
4. Press Call Ringtone to choose:
• Preloaded ringtone(s) or
• Custom ringtone(s)
- Press Get New Ringtones.
Then follow the prompts.

To download the USB drivers click on the following link, then click on. "Software' just under the 'Downloads' Tab. Then click on the EXE File (under File) then download and install the USB drivers to your PC.

The trick is NOT to use the "settings" menu, but instead press the volume button (on the left side of the phone's body) up, until you get into the "volume" mode and out of the "vibrate only" mode. then you can set the volume however high you want it.

get a converter   i use total audio converter  or a mp3 to wav converter   i also have many polyphonic (.mid or .mmf) converters   to locate them come to filetopia (a downloadable software for chat)  and come to the All Good things room  we will help you   i am The_MacGyver

i got the same phone and i usually have to record the song from off the radio youtube or where ever i hear it by using the voice memo and then send it in a pic message wit no pic jus the sound to my phone and then save the sound and set it as a ringtone

you first need to record your sound/voice and then save it along with the songs,. then you'll find your recorded voice in the list. use it

Throw your phone against the wall and buy a new one.

check the profiles in settings.

5. then press go
6. find ringtones
7. then scroll down
8. highlight download
9. Then you download to you Samsung U340
GO TO YOUR MULIT MEDIA FOLDER PRESS 4 AND THEN 2 AND TA-DA!
