Electric dryer works (Kenmore Model 96595400); however, no heat. Manual says that it could be a fuse. Where is the fuse? If not the fuse and is the thermostat, where is the thermostat?

NOT ELITE HE4..... Model 96595400. Replaced thermistor and Hi-Limit Stat. Probably the thermistor.

Kenmore electric dryer 8662100 drum turns, no heat

you have probably lost one leg of your power supply feed 120volts+120volts=240volts,your motor will operate on 120volts, but the element won't,also if you have 240volts the neutral wire to the element can burn off w/heat and age

Electric dryer wont heat or turn off

there could be a temperature switch that tripps off. look at the diagram and trace also the power to the timer motor. it seems that you lost your power to your timer motor that is why the timer stays @ what ever setting you set it.

No heat, timer not advancing

If the timer advances in timed cycle but not automatic, you have a bad heater thermostat.

No heat,,timer not advancing

Check with a multi-meter for power on THE heating element's tags (115/220V). If it does get power, you should replace the heating element. In case of no power- you should replace the thermostat. Good luck!
