Hi i had a wireless internet connection on my advent laptop till about 2 weeks ago and it doesn,t work anymore i have a internet conection as i,m using a different one and work perfect but this one seems not to work even if it shows me that i am connected to my wireless network. keeps showing internet explorer cannot display the webpage. can you help ?

Hi Friend, In this case as you have told me that you have other laptop which is working fine wirelesly. I would like you to check the IP address of the system in which you are facing the issues.
To check the IP address: 1) If system has XP Click on "Start" and then "Run". Type "cmd" in Run and hit enter A black screen will pop up, in that type "ipconfig", where the cursor will be blinking Check the IP adress under " Ethernet adapter local area connection" & " Wireless adapter"
2) If it is Vista/Win 7 Click on Start again and in Search field type cmd and hit enter Same black screen will pop up and repeat the same above steps in the black window and check the IP adress
