My honeywell thermostat (TH8321U) touchscreen's icons only work on the left side which enables me to turn might heat on and off but will not allow me to change my settings?

Screen freeze

Try pushing hard and steady on the bottom, left side of the thermostat, if it unfreezes, it means that the ribbon connection from the base to the touch screen is loose. you can try to wiggle it, but usually it will not stay fixed and the thermostat must be changed.

Need wiring help for replacing trane model baystat 239 with a honeywell th8321u thermostat

I am not sure of what help you need on it but here are the most common wiring on a stat
W= heat
C=Common (24V)
R=Hot (24V)
G= Fan
RC=Hot (24v for Cooling)
RH= Hot (24v for Heat)
O= Reversing Valve (Heat Pumps Only)
