After a certain time say 10 mins while playing the psp it suddenly ask if i want to quit game or not ... except without touching the home button to quit the game voluntarily ..... i heard some people say the button might be dislocated or someting like that.... anyway it stills show up suddenly of asking to quit the game or not.... help needed a.s.a.p. thanks console experts ;)
This shouldn't happen. This is the first time I've heard about a problem like this. My instincts tell me that it is probably the home button. it may look like there's nothing wrong with the button on the outside but underneath the home button. Don't try to fix it yourself, try to find a professional repair shop &get it fixed there.

I've been experiencing this as well. This is because of a newly installed game on your PSP, most probably the one you are currently playing while the "quit" message appears. Just uninstall that game and this will solve your problem.
try a reset on your PSP
turn on your psp and remove the battery from it
wait for 10 sec and reinsert the battery after that turn on the unit and then press the select button and then select restore default
and then ok
now wait for 2 mins
restart the PSP and then try playing the game
that's odd, this has happened to me in a similiar way, except for me my PSP would keep saying "Do you want to exit the game?" For you two, i would recommend examining the discs and make sure they're not scratched too much. Also examine the inside of your PSP where you insert the UMD, is there a loose or broken piece. In my opinion, much like my PS2, the games get too scratched (despite being in that case) to function and will stop being real altogether, although i am still trying to figure out why all games stop working...
Hope this helped in any way
The game that you got from the promo when you bought your psp has expired. They gave you a certain amount of time to play the game before they make it expire. They do that so that you can go out and buy the actual game. They give you a free demo to convince you to buy the actual whole game so they can make more money. And your psp cuts off when you leave it sitting for a period of time to save power and to avoid killing your power. It is a setting that you can change in the menu of your psp. You can change the amount of time you would like it to stay on while sitting un-active.
