LG Chocolate mobile phone by Life's Good (LG) is used through
Verizon cellular phone service. The Chocolate, also known by the
model number VX8500, comes in a variety of colors and includes
features such as a camera and a music player. The phone can be reset
to factory default settings.

Lightly tap the backwards button--the one with two small triangles
pointing to the left--on your keypad.
3.
Press "OK," and then the number "5" button
twice.
4.
Type in your lock code, a 4-digit pin.
5.
Choose "Reset Default" by pressing "3."
6.
Read the message on the screen and press "OK."
7.
Choose "Revert" by pressing the number "1."

okay all of you take the phone to a mobile service center and have the flexcable replaced, this will correct the white screen issues.

You can try this and I hope it will work:-
Call*228 and push 1 when they start talking and it will reset it and the code will be the last 4 digits of your number.

Hi,
The problem is with the headset jack on your phone....normally when the plug is inserted it tells the phone to shut down the speaker... now when you are removing the phone plug it is not switching back. The jack has gone bad and is sticking in the position as though the headset plug is still there...
The jack will need to be replaced for it to work properly again.
Take the phone to a store run by your service provider and get an estimate for repair or see if you have it insured.
