Question about Kidkraft Toys

1 Answer

I have the KidKraft 72 Piece Activity Tool Bench, and need to replace some of the screws that have gotten worn down over the years. I contacted KidKraft and they are willing to replace the parts, as long as I can name the parts from the assembly instructions, which I don't have and can't find. Help!

Request the assembly instructions from KidKraft so you can identify the parts you need to order.

How to change the seals on a clutch master cylinder for a 98 Subaru outback

It's been years since I have rebuilt a clutch master, since they have gotten so cheap, but if you really want to do this, first tear down the unit and lay all parts out in order to aid in reassembly. Next, inspect the bore of the unit to see how bad it is. It badly scratched or pitted, stop and replace the entire unit. If it looks ok, hone the bore with a hone tool using clean brake fluid, clean with more clean fluid, and install new parts using assembly lube. Bench bleed, then install and bleed the system.

I didnt manage to find a video for the assembly but I did find a fairly decent image that may help as well as a detailed assembly (although you may already have this) sheet. You could try contacting Kidcraft as they do have assembly videos for their other dollhouse models.

My sons Nabi won't charge and I don't know if it's the charger or the Nabi's battery help me

Contact Nabi. I have had several issues with nabi. Most likely the slot where the plug is placed is disconnected inside somehow. You can try placing the charger in the freezer for about an hour. There is a thermal fuse that over heated that will reset it. Nabi sent me a new tablet twice. They have great customer service.

I think there is something going on between 1 or more of the three buttons namely "SEARCH,SCAN,TRUNK" that won't let me use the trunk system automatically. I have to use it manually .Worked great for 3...

Yep, sounds like the contacts on the keypad are worn. In most cases i have been able to resolve that issue here on the bench. Let me know if you'd like to ship it in.

Not cutting right - or at all

Depending on how much use the saw has gotten over the years the problem could be a very dull blade, worn out motor brushes, or a nearly worn out motor. The danger is that a power tool that is not working as it should is much more hazardous than a newer saw that is working properly.

I cannot remove the plate to pute the other plate on

Here's a copy of the manual instructions...
Detail Sanding
Your tool is equipped with a teardrop base which allows you to use it on large flat surfaces
and tight spots or corners.
The pad tips may wear unevenly, depending on use. The pads are designed to allow you to
interchange and /or rotate the diamond tip.
Fitting Sanding Sheets ( Fig. 2)
• Detach the two diamond-shaped tips from the sanding sheet.

If this doesn't provide enough information, take a look at the pictures in the manual at the following link:,MS550GBMS550GH.pdf

If you still have difficulty getting the base off, write back and let me know specifically what the trouble is and I'll try to help you with it.
• Hold the tool with the sanding base facing upwards.
• Place the sanding sheet onto the sanding base.
The diamond-shaped tip can be reversed and replaced when worn.
• When the front part of the tip is worn, detach it from the sheet, reverse it and press it onto
the sanding base again.
• When the whole tip is worn, remove it from the sanding base and fit a new tip.
Tip of the Sanding Base ( Fig. 3)
When the sanding base tip is worn, it can be reversed or replaced.
• Remove the screw.
• Reverse or replace the worn part.
• Fit and tighten the screw.
Finger Attachment ( Fig. 4)
The finger attachment is used for fine detail sanding.
• Remove the screw.
• Remove the diamond-shaped tip holder from the sanding base.
• Fit the finger attachment onto the sanding base.
• Fit and tighten the screw.
Contour Holder Attachment (Fig. 5)
• The contour sanding pieces are for sanding curved surfaces and grooves.
• Remove the screw.
• Remove the diamond-shaped tip holder from the
sanding base.
• Fit the contour holder onto the sanding base.
• Fit and tighten the screw.
Fitting and Removing a Contour Piece (Fig. 6 & 7)
• Choose the contour sanding piece profile most suitable for your application.
• Place one end of the contour sanding piece into the recess at
the front end of the profile holder.
• Push the other end of the contour sanding piece until it clicks
into place.
To remove the contour sanding piece, push it forward then pull the rear end out of
the profile holder (fig. 7).
Fitting a Sanding Sheet Onto a Contour Sanding Piece (Fig. 8)
• Align the sanding sheet with the contour sanding piece.
• Press the sanding sheet onto the contour sanding piece, making
sure that the sanding sheet follows the shape of the profile.
