You can delete songs, video, etc the easy way by doing the following:

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

thanks so much for your prompt response.
However, let me tell you, when I go to "My Computer", the iPod is listed under "cameras and scanners", not under "Devices with Removal Storage". So when I right clic it, it opens some photos but nothing else.
And still no recognition in iTunes....
sorry to bother so much, but I don't know what to do. Thanks so much!!!

My Computer and my iTunes do not recognize my iPod. The iPod will start to charge, but it never really charges, will recognize all other iPods!

1. Reset or restore your iPod for a try, this can fix many general iPod problems. 2. You may try this iTunes alternative, I always use it to upload music and video to my iPod once my iTunes can't recognize my iPod, my friends recommend it to me, it's safe and works pretty well, you can also use it to copy music and video from ipod to computer for backup, it's useful when you lost your iTunes library. 3. Update your iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod. If iTunes can't recognize it, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod. I got this method from Apple technical support. Hope it helps. Contact me if you have any other question.

How do i connect my ipod touch to itunes?

Plug in your ipod to the computer, and iTunes should recognize the iPod. If this doesn't work, try a different cable or USB port.

Apple ipod touch 8GB For got password

1. Hold down Sleep/Wake button and Home button together, until the iPod touch powers off. Once the iPod touch turns on again, let go of the Sleep/Wake button about 1 or 2 seconds later, still holding the Home button. Once plugged in to your computer, iTunes will recognize the device is in Recovery Mode. You can now restore which will set the iPod touch back to factory defaults, thus removing the passcode.

2. Open up iLiberty+ and other the Other Tools tab select Enter DFU Mode. Your iPod touch will be recognized as in Recovery Mode by iTunes once you plug it in, at which point you can restore through iTunes. This will wipe the passcode as you're setting the device back to factory defaults.

3. Open up ZiPhone and select Prepare for Upgrade. You're iPod touch needs to be plugged in to your computer before doing so, and once you select that option iTunes will recognize that your device is in recovery mode. You can now restore through iTunes which sets the device back to factory default thus removing the passcode.

Aaah, very simple procedure. First, plug your new iPod into your computer. Second, open up iTunes. Third, your computer should recognize your new iPod and will prompt you to go through a simple iPod set up, then it will ask you if you want to sync your music library to it.
Hope this helps!

My Computer and iTunes does not recognize my iPod Touch

Try resetting it while it is connected. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If you have not already tried, I would also try the other ports on the computer.

Are you running iTunes 8?

And what kind of computer do you have?

My Computer and iTunes does not recognize my iPod

Try this: turn off your ipod, hold the home button, and plug it into itunes while still holding the home button until a picture of the itunes symbol appears with a cable under it. itunes should say "ipod found in restore mode". This will completely reset your ipod, hopefully fixing any bugs or problems in it. also, you will lose all data saved on the ipod that isn't also backed up by itunes. Music, pictures, and video can be re-synced.

My Computer and iTunes does not recognize my iPod

Look into the bottom of the iPod where the USB connects. Make sure none of the pins are bent and that there is no corrosion visible. Also, are you using the same cable when you connect the different devices?
